Christine Lauren helps social-change organizations mobilize the resources they need to advance equity — from attracting and retaining funding from large government grants to interim development support during times of transition.

Christine is a biracial/bicultural fund development consultant specializing in grant writing and proposal development, fund development strategy, and interim development support. She leverages two decades of direct-service and consulting experience to persuade audiences on racial and economic equity, immigration, financial capability, affordable housing, homelessness, and youth services.

Previously, Christine was the Director of Development and Marketing at the Unity Council. She also served in-house as the Director of Development and Communications at St. Vincent de Paul and Development Manager Community Housing Partnership.

Christine has extensive in-house and consulting experience and covers a full range of development and communications needs. Since establishing her consulting practice 17 years ago, she has secured over $87 million in grants for clients.

 

She lives in Hillsboro, Oregon with her husband and two tuxedo cats, and enjoys urban gardening and international travel.
